Hello, I'm Martin your photographer at Glamerarti.​

I guess your first question is what is a man doing as a photographer in the Boudoir and Nude field?

 

Well, I have been a passionate photographer for about 40 years and I also happen to be high functioning autistic. When you put those two together what do you get? You get a Nature and Landscape Photographer and yes, for a long time that was me.

 

I did however spend many many years in Tourism taking small groups on tours of the Great Barrier Reef as well as many Queensland Islands, Sand Cays and Beaches then the Bungle Bungles and Kimberley region. Over that time I found that, although I am actually pretty shy, I do like people a lot and particularly enjoyed giving people fabulous and memorable experiences.

 

In spite of that I was still a Nature and Landscape Photographer and I went to a lot of trouble to actually keep people out of my images and won many awards for those images so I thought I was on the right track.

 

Then one day along comes a girl who had seen and loved my work and asks me to take her to some of my favourite places to take photos. Foolishly, I assumed she wanted to take some beautiful landscapes, but nooo. 

 

Once we arrived at a favourite spot she took me completely by surprise and very politely asked me if I minded if she posed nude for me. I know I blushed right then and probably stuttered a bit, being as shy as I am, but I wanted to make her happy so I said that was ok and we got busy shooting. It wasn't till later that I realised I got so focused in setting up the shots and getting them just right that I had completely lost my embarrassment and wasn't even thinking about the fact that I was in a very remote place with a beautiful naked girl I had only met about an hour before. I was purely concentrating on creating art.

 

The young lady was really really happy with her images and started sharing them. I then got a request from her best friend followed by a slow trickle of requests from others who saw her images in her social media.

 

Fast forward to now, I get lots of requests and so have progressed from doing it for free to going professional due to what it costs me in time, travel, equipment and lets not mention my many years of experience. So, if you do choose to shoot with me the true value comes not from my fancy equipment but from my years of experience and talent for bringing out your best angles and also taking care of your safety if we go somewhere wild to shoot. My goal if you hire me is to create a truly memorable experience from start to finish with the images being the icing on the cake.
